Number 6: A narcissist will isolate himself.
A narcissist loves attention and is often seen amidst a crowd filled with unimportant people. If, however, depression begins to set in, the narcissist will limit his company to the bare minimum. No, they don’t want to be around anybody, nor do they want anybody around them. A lot of time will be spent alone while avoiding social situations, even if they tend to be somewhat outgoing.
When feeling depressed, narcissists choose to isolate themselves-they actually do this through a greater focus on solitude or grudgingly respond to attempts of others to reach out. Narcissists try hard to avoid anything that could hurt them emotionally or put them in the presence of those who lack respect for their greatness.
Number 8: They will lose the ability to concentrate or memorize.
The other critical aspects of depression are concentration and memory. It becomes difficult for a narcissist to remember things or concentrate while he is depressed and, at times, preoccupied only with his problems and insecurities. Things he should be able to remember would easily slip off his memory because a narcissist would find it hard to focus on anything at that moment.
They easily forget things said just moments ago, as well as on tasks or in tasks while distracted by themselves. A narcissist is often depressed in a state of denial and wearing a false self-image. Their egos don’t allow any information into their conscious minds that might contradict their beliefs.
