Number 9: They experience an increase in headaches and gastrointestinal problems.
Since they hide emotions deep within themselves and ignore them, narcissists begin to feel physical pain in their loins in the form of stomach aches or headaches when they get depressed. They also begin suffering from lack of sleep and fatigue for narcissists, as well as the loss of motivation to do anything.
Such things are probably seen to be usually coincidental because they accompany most necessary symptoms of being depressed. It must be noted, however, that narcissists can be touchy with what people think about them. They also tend to have a difficult time expressing emotions healthily. This is why they incorporate things like anxiety or depression when they are with others who don’t share the same viewpoint.
Number 10: They will act quieter than normal.
Everyone knows that self-centered, loud narcissists can draw people to their party. To this extent, they are called the life of the party. But when they are depressed, you will notice that they are quieter than usual. They might even have some difficulty conversing and would rather spend their time in solitude. Depressed narcissists do not want to be talked about.
Their egos are not emotionally in a good place, and they want to hide. Downers can cause longer periods of resignation to home rather than going out and about. A narcissist’s depression is a continual and slight feeling of being miserable that does not go away.
When narcissists realize that their control over the situation is less or that they are unable to get what they want from it, these people tend to feel depressed. The very first thing that one must note is the signs of depression shown by a narcissist to help them get out of it.
