Number 7. Excessive Lust for Revenge
Narcissists possess a one-dimensional approach towards revenge. When they are attacked, they will normally hit back with an endless thirst for revenge. They remember things for a long time and will try to take their revenge on anyone they think has been the cause of their disturbance. This can result in harmful confrontations, particularly for those close to them.
Number 8. Compulsive Behavior
In an attempt to divert attention from their emotional suffering, narcissists can develop compulsive behavior, including drug abuse. Alcohol, gambling, or drug abuse can become a coping mechanism since they are looking for temporary pleasure. These addictions become a means of escape from their failure to experience true happiness for most narcissists.
