Do you know anything about a narcissist’s flying monkeys? No, well let me explain them to you. Those are the individuals whom the narcissist employs to spy on you, intimidate, or even bully you into doing whatever they want you to do. Narcissists tend to use your friend or loved one as their flying monkeys, the individuals who are willing to dish out news about your life or someone whom they’re dating.
They can also employ this individual to spy on you to learn more about what you say and do. This way, narcissists are constantly in the loop about your every step. Worst of all, your family or friends may not even realize that narcissists are employing them as their flying monkeys.
So, if you know that you are dating a narcissist, then you also must inform your people that surround you so that the narcissist does not take over your whole family and loved ones. Better to be safe early in the relationship than to regret everything when too late, don’t you think?
Number 3: Social Media
Narcissists keep checking your social media pages periodically to know what is happening in your life and to make sure nothing is going on in their blind spot. They may even hire someone to monitor you for them, or they may monitor you themselves. Narcissists may also create fake social media pages solely for the purpose of testing you.
They can even send you a text on those and flirt with you to see whether you are serious about them or not, and that is just something you shouldn’t do in a relationship. When you fall into their trap, a narcissist will go and confront you and yell at you, without even realizing what they did wrong.
It doesn’t even matter whether you didn’t flirt back with them; narcissists would also make a mountain out of that too. Think about how they would react if some other person messaged and flirted with you. Now consider if you can deal with this toxic relationship with them.
