Sign 7: Creating and Thriving in Chaos
Number seven, they make chaos where they go, then claim to be the victim. Wherever there is a narcissist, there is chaos. Their life is never easy, their work is never toxic, their so-called friends are never jealous of them, their family doesn’t get them. But look closer, and you will notice that wherever they land, things always deteriorate. They don’t make chaos; they make it into being. But to maintain their image, they will distort it: They were betrayed and misunderstood; they are the empath who loves too much.
That is greater than emotional immaturity; that is spiritual manipulation. You need to know that because once you think they’re the victim, your spirit goes into overdrive trying to repair, heal, and save them. But you’re not repairing anything here; you’re merely taking their chaos inside yourself.
Sign 8: Disrespecting Silence
Eight, they disrespect silence because it shatters their ego. Narcissists are afraid of quiet because silence speaks back to them in truth, and they cannot sit in the company of what silence reveals. It’s deafening and defeating to them. They require noise constant validation, distraction, quarreling, scrolling, gossip, or projects anything that prevents them from feeling the emptiness of their own soul.
