The Unspoken Regrets of Narcissists

While narcissists will never admit it, they do carry with them regret that they cannot escape, most notably, a growing over the years with age of chronic sadness and disappointment. Narcissists are discontent, and this is due to the life of unfulfilled enjoyment they lead for others and themselves. To be a narcissist is such a burdensome condition, and one of their worst diseases is chronic discontent.

Lastly, most narcissists die with this life being unhappy, dissatisfied, and in terror. They wish that they didn’t have the control that they wanted, but not that they did. They just wish that they were able to break or control everyone entirely. They might even wish that they could not be immortal and omnipotent. Everything is narcissists’, and their sense of entitlement makes them want the impossible, no matter how undeserving they are.

Conclusion

Ultimately, although the narcissist will not acknowledge it, they do regret. They regret not being content or being totally in charge, what is happiness to them. In attaining this happiness, however, they do not regret the individuals they have hurt in the process.
