Number 6: Projection of Diabolical Characteristics
They project their diabolical characteristics onto you. This is one of the most heartless strategies they employ. When their diabolical characteristics start surfacing, anger, jealousy, and manipulation, they turn things around. You’re the jealous one now. You’re the manipulator. You’re the instigator, the abuser, the problem, the narcissist.
They take that evil and tag it on your name. It’s a spiritual issue because as soon as your light begins to illuminate their darkness, they’ve got to change the story one way or another. If they can get others, or even you at the time, to believe that you’re the one who’s been tainted, they regain their power, and power is all they care about.
My father did this all the time. He would say I was being arrogant all the time when I wasn’t saying anything. He would tell me I was thinking I was superior to all the rest when all I desired was peace. Whatever I attempted to elevate spiritually, he labeled me phony, destructive, or crazy. It was a projection, nothing more, but it worked for a while, I assure you.
I took the shame inside. I doubted myself. I asked myself if I was harming people. That is what they desire to have you bear the weight of their darkness, because the more you are weighed down, the dimmer you shine.
Number 7: Artificial Spirituality
They begin name-dropping spiritually so that they seem superior to you. When they notice that you are spiritually rooted, they attempt to keep pace, but not with a real connection, do they? They do it with imitation. They begin quoting Bible verses. They toss around spiritual gurus or teachers. They speak in spiritual terms, speak of energy, or refer to themselves as healers or super-empaths. But you sense the dissonance and discrepancy.
Their energy is not match what they’re saying. Their energy is not backing up what their mouth is attempting to say. And on a very, very deep level, they are aware that you see. This is them attempting to neutralize your spiritual power by faking the same, but they don’t.
They clothe spirituality in a costume, hoping to gain for themselves the same entry you have achieved through inner work and integrity. But the spiritual power cannot be replicated, can it? And when someone who is ego- and shadow-bent tries to play god, it collapses in on itself.
That is why they will become more belligerent. It is desperation masquerading as alignment, for they don’t desire your relationship; they desire your power. And when they discover that they won’t get it, they attack it.
