While it is risky to engage in any activity with a narcissist, there are certain things you should not do with them at all. 1 Never get financially involved with a Narcissist.
Do not get financially involved with a narcissist in any way. Do not lend them money, do not work with them in a business, do not get involved in a project, do not do anything that involves money. They adore money, and they do not have a functioning moral compass. Their conscience will not cause them to treat you fairly financially. They will cheat on you, they will lie to you for sure, and you’ll lose everything. The worst part is that they won’t feel guilty about lying to you. They think your money is their money, that you belong to them as a partner, as a parent, as a friend; they are entitled to take it all.
So they do their best to entice you into the lie and steal it away. They will make you burn your savings and invest in their business, which sounds so novel when, in fact, their concepts are nothing novel. What makes them believe so is their grandiosity in thinking that no one had ever conceived this thing in this manner. They will make you believe them, they will make you trust them, and that is what you do as a child, as a friend, as a partner, as a parent.
But then, when the returns are received, when the return of your money is received, you do not get even a single penny. When borrowing from you, they will swear on their deceased mother, they will swear on anything they can, and vow that they are going to return it within a month. But when it is time to return it, they are nowhere to be seen.
