They do not respect your solitude because they cannot tolerate their own, and your silence breaks into their fantasy of mastery. Spiritual cleanliness needs quiet, but with a narcissist, quiet is an absolute war zone.
Sign 9: Parasitic Energy
Number nine, and the final one, they carry parasitic energy that only lives if it’s fed by others. A narcissist doesn’t produce energy; they take it. They mirror your light, steal your thoughts, recycle your emotions, and copy your presence. But if you step back, even briefly, they collapse. Their charm dissipates, their facade falls away, and their hollowness is seen.
They exist by attaching to high-energy individuals and draining them in a cycle. It is not a relationship; it is a feeding. The longer you are there, the less you have any idea where you start and they leave off. You become drained for no reason, nervous when you are with them, lost in your own home. That’s spiritual parasitism I was talking about.
