Number 3: Narcissists are always envious of others and always put them down.
Apart from other people’s talents and assets, narcissists want to live life the way we do. And even though they put us down and make us feel like nothing, we still have everything we desire. One of the reasons you cannot trust a narcissist is their envious nature; they are incapable of congratulating others on a job well done.
A narcissist will find ways to undermine your success by asking questions that minimize, deflate, or ignore it entirely. They never want their targets to feel enough, so they make sure that no matter how successful you are in one aspect of your life, they modify their desires, expectations, and criteria for what success means.

So, if they are dissatisfied with something done by someone, they will make sure the other person is aware of it. Worse, no matter what you do, they will disapprove of you because they are envious.
Number 4: Narcissists have an extreme sense of entitlement.
Narcissists have a much higher sense of entitlement than a typical person; that’s why they’re always asking for favors and never returning them. They simply believe they are exceptional, so it is only natural for them to have access to all of the world’s privileges. Trusting someone with a high sense of entitlement will mean that their personal needs come before everyone else.
Once you need something, don’t expect them to drop what they are doing to help you. They believe that it is your job to ensure you have everything they need, even if you don’t have the time to take care of your responsibilities. How can you expect someone to give importance to the trust that you have provided when they only think about themselves?
Someone who feels entitled may not express gratitude or show others signs of appreciation for what they have. This is due to their belief that it is their right to have everything. So they place no value on anything; they place no value on the trust that you will be giving.
