Suppose your narcissistic ex sends you random emails and letters with apologies and well wishes. In that case, it could signal that they’re stalking you. Take this as a sign that the situation is getting worse. This is often a sign that the person is trying to regain control over you.

Your narcissistic ex may send such and try to make you feel bad about yourself, so you’ll take them back. It’s important to remember that just because someone apologizes doesn’t mean that they actually mean it.

More importantly, it doesn’t mean that you should forget about everything the narcissistic exes did wrong for things to stay amicable between the two of you. If your ex keeps reaching out to you, chances are they’re not doing it out of the kindness of their heart.

It’s uncommon for a narcissistic ex to create a fake profile to contact you again. They might do this because they’re trying to get back together with you, or just want to ensure that you’re still thinking about them.

And they might use this account to continue their harassment without being caught by other platform users. Narcissistic exes may also use this account to send slanderous messages to your friends and family about what kind of person you are.

They aim to get them on their side against you. Whatever, their intentions are in making these accounts, they should be careful about responding to those messages or engaging in any conversation with them.

Your narcissistic ex may be trying to play games with you or manipulate you into thinking there’s someone else entirely.
