Narcissistic exes are known for their ability to charm and manipulate people, especially their targets. This is one reason why they can be so dangerous. They’re not just after you anymore; they’re after everyone you love.
So, if you notice that your ex is spending more time with your family, friends, or co-workers than usual, it may be a sign that they’re trying to gain more control over your life. Once they’ve gotten close enough to your family and friends, they can use their influence over you to get them on their side.
This is also their way of manipulating you into staying in contact with them, they may tell your loved ones they miss you or want to be there for you during difficult times. If they’re trying to get close to them, they’re still trying to get into your life somehow.
And if that happens, your narcissistic ex will have access to information about you that can be used against you down the line.
Number 5: You receive a lot of weird messages from unknown numbers.
Narcissists like to keep tabs on their victims by using different ways, such as email, text, and phone calls. It’s not always easy to tell if a person is stalking you. Still, started getting a lot of random messages from strange numbers.
It could signify that your narcissistic ex is still obsessing over you and trying to get your attention. It’s common for narcissistic exes to use technology to harass their former partners to get them back.
If this happens, don’t respond to any of the messages delete them immediately. You can also block the number and report it to your phone provider, so they can do background checks and find out who’s behind it.
