If you want to make a narcissist regret how they’ve treated you the best thing to do is to be confident and independent. When you’re confident in yourself in your abilities, it’s harder for someone else to tear you down or make you feel bad about yourself.
This doesn’t mean that you have to be arrogant; it just means that if someone tries to make you feel worthless. They will have a more challenging time doing it, and when they realize that their attempts are failing, they’ll regret everything they’ve done in trying to hurt you. You can also be independent by not relying on others for approval or happiness.
Narcissists will try to make you feel like you need them in your life, but the fact is that you don’t. You will be able to find happiness without them, so don’t let them make you believe otherwise.

Number 5: Take care of yourself.
You’ve been through a lot; you’ve been lied to, cheated on, and manipulated. You’re probably feeling hurt and angry, but you shouldn’t let those feelings take over. It can be hard to stay positive when you’ve been treated poorly by a narcissist, but you can do it. Take care of yourself by eating right- exercising regularly and getting enough sleep. Pamper yourself, get a massage, and go walk by yourself.
Spend some time with your family and friends who love and support you. Once you’ve started to do things that make you happy and healthy, it will be much harder for them to keep manipulating you into doing things that aren’t good for you.
